Found an animal ?

If you have found an animal and want to put it on this website please contact 07599087227 or e mail debbierspca@gmail.com

Please note :

As we are all volunteers & only have limited rehoming facilities for cats (and none for dogs) we are unable to collect animals. We MAY be able to take the cats into care, depending on space available. For dogs & cats (when we are full) you will need to call the National RSPCA Helpline on 0300 1234999. The police are responsible for dogs that are found until March 31st 2008. After that they will be the responsibility of the Local Council.

If you are looking in this section to find a lost pet :

Legally, cats & dogs that are found only need to be kept for 7 days before they can be rehomed. We, therefore, recommend that you also check our section on cats needing homes & rehoming sections of other organisations including other local RSPCA branches at York, Bawtry & Hull (details can be found on the national website www.rspca.org.uk ) as well as Jerry Green's (email address admin@jerrygreendogs.co.uk ). Other useful organisations you may wish to contact are below the summary table.

Other useful organisations to contact :

If your pet is micro-chipped inform Petlog via their 24 hour helpline 08444633999. Petlog will produce posters & your animal’s details will also be displayed on the Petlog online Lost Pet Register. You can also check www.petlog.org.uk  for progress on Petlog’s search for your pet. Petlog will notify local vets in your area. Local vets and animal charity organisations are able to scan pets for their microchip number.
